Little Birds

One more project has been checked off the list! I worked a lot on the baby's room during this long weekend, and here's just one of the updates I made. More to come this week...

This is the baby's dresser/changing table (before).
The dresser was originally mine, and it just felt a little too
"grown up" with the metal hardware. So....


Brian helped me take one of the little "hoppy" birds from the nursery fabric, and I burned the design onto wooden drawer pulls. Then I used acrylic paint to add some color. It's just a little thing, but I think it really makes the dresser unique and much more kid-friendly.
